Jesus was asked which commandment mattered most.
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.

They say
Jesus said to love your neighbour. Isn't that what matters most?
The scene
A Pharisee asked Jesus which was the greatest commandment in the law.
Jesus answered:
"You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind."Matthew 22:37
"This is the first and great commandment."Matthew 22:38
Then:
"A second likewise is this, 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'"Matthew 22:39
"The whole law and the prophets depend on these two commandments."Matthew 22:40
Jesus put love for God first and love for your neighbour second, and gave them both.
And when Jesus speaks about love for himself, he says:
"If you love me, keep my commandments."John 14:15
