Jesus asked them to look at the coin.
Whose is this image?
They were trying to trap Jesus with a question about paying taxes to Caesar.
He asked them to show him a denarius.
"Whose is this image and inscription?"Matthew 22:20
They answered, "Caesar's."Matthew 22:21
That part is easy enough. Caesar's image is on the coin.
"Give therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar's,"Matthew 22:21
